on second thought it looks like a dog hiking its leg...but how the heck does an IFS flex that much with its 4wd still intact...then again, it might be AWD buggy!

Single diesel tractor motor, tied by chain to each wheel's hub. (think big motorcycle chain) Remember the Batmobile from Batman Begins? (those front wheels in particular). Those were like motorcycle hubs - just bigger. No reason why you can't put a drive line to them. This guy (in the video) though, he took it one huge step further. He didn't only articulate where the axle would've been, he moved the whole pivot point back 3 ft! That's alot of space to use! On top of that, it seems as though the "axles" can think on their own... like going up and over things without needing the driver's input. But, he also appears to be able to control the chains' pull/push from the cockpit.... like when he raises the chassis to get off the trailer. Which he still scrapes anyway. I'm not sure if he's using a huge set of hydraulics to drive those chains, or is it running electric, or maybe off the motor? (that would be reeeeeeeally tough).

Talk about alot of brainpower/time/devotion.
