want yellow lights

but have no idea how to get them. i want my fog lights to look bright yellow and put out yellow light. how do you do this without buying new lights?? do they sell bulbs? tint film? HID? any help is appreciated!

the two fog lights on my bumper is what i'm talking about

they are stock renegade fog lights.

Just take the bulb number and go to PIAA or another place that sells lights/bulbs and look for a yellow bulb. I think on Jeep forum someone was talking about doing it. I/ll check and see if I can find it

I got my yellow bulbs off of eBay. You will want something in the 4300K range

4300K range :shock:

everything i've seen has said 2500K range..well for halogen. do you have any pictures of your yellow lights digger?

There's the option of Lamin-x covers in yellow as well.

interesting.. checked it out and that is pretty cool. i think i'll try the yellow bulbs first.. then if it's not yellow enough perhaps i'll try the yellow lamin-x with the yellow bulbs.

Here are the same bulbs on my dads ram

NOKYA H10 9145 Hyper Yellow 2500K Head/Fog Light Bulbs 270318119584 (my bulbs)

and you go those off ebay you say... hum.. i'll check it out. tomorrow i'll rip out one of my fog light bulbs and get the number... then order a set

Just make sure you stick with Nokya, and their high-level stuff. Never dissapoints. 11 cars later and I'm still using the same bulbs in every car's fogs. Not one defect yet. :2cents:

Yellow will cut thought snow and fog where as "white" will create a white out and blind you

yes.. that is true.. plus they look cool !! but really.. white light reflects off of things where yellow wont.. especially snow. plus yellow is a better light for night time. (ever wear yellow glasses at night? if not try it!)

It's also nice to use them when night wheeling that way you don't blind the person in front of you

took my fog light cover off (since there is nothing on the back) and found a H3 bulb inside. ordering some off ebay tonight. pictures will go up sooner or later

edit.. bulbs are ordered and on their way.

im gonna try this too! living right on the ocean I get the thick marine layer that comes in very often...maybe the yellow will work better on that. the normal white light just causes a white out like you guys said

want yellow lights
