Okay, it happened again. Retyped the whole loooooong post and hit submit and it disappeared again, I'm going to bed.
Long story short, occasional power loss from red light and then it goes away after next stop and go. Just changed fuel filter 1 tank ago afer several tanks of bio.

sounds like air in fuel - maybe the filter isn't sealing well?
try to bleed the filter head - if you get air out you've got a leak somewhere

I'll try and tighten filter by hand to see if it moves. If no movement, I'll crack bleed valve and pump to see what fuel looks like.
Thanks for the tip.

Has this only been a problem since converting to the new format?

Type long posts in Word and then cut and paste - much easier than retyping.

Make sure you're on http://www.lostjeeps.com instead of lostkjs.com.

Man the time stamp on this one is ALL screwed up. Happened to me yesterday, I posted at about 3:56 pm CST, and it posted as 4:46 pm CST and I couldn't post again for an hour.

Not sure where this post will land in this thread...seems to be all over the place.

Cracked open the bleed port and pumped lots of air from filterhead till steady stream of fuel and tightened back up. Will take for a test ride in a little while. Where did the air come from; could it have been in there since last filter change around Christmas? Also checked filter to be sure it was tight and it was. Now cross my figers in hopes this post will land and in the right place :dizzy:

Well the bleeding of air from filterhead did not totally eliminate the problem. It reared its ugly head again this afternoon but only once. Any other ideas?

Is the area around your bleeder screw wet with fuel? Or the rim of the fuel filter? The bleeder may not be sealing. This happened the first time I changed my filter, even though it was tight. I had to take the screw out to lap the sealing surface, then crank it down. I don't touch it anymore because I have the lift pump. If you weren't having problems before the filter change, I'd say your bleeder is bleeding. Clean and dry the area with some solvent and then look for leaks.
