I received a warm greeting over on the 4X4 forum.

My Liberty is a company car, but we're considering buying it when it gets replaced with a ... minivan.

We have a 2000 Audi A6 that is currently the family ride that the Liberty would replace.

Just wanted to stop by and say hello.

- Jeff

Welcome Jeff. Wow, a company car...and what company is that? I'd like to get in on that. I've never understood why companies go with minivans. But anyway, it's good to see you. Hopefully you'll be able to make one of the events we've got coming up. Since your's is a company car, we'd understand if you didn't want to risk messing it up (I've heard how horrible it can be to deal with the paperwork when that happens), so I'm sure y'all could ride with someone on the trail.

Yes, welcome Jeff. Maybe you can make to Lake Travis for the meet and greet.

Actually, I had the choice of 1) '05 Liberty Sport 4X4 2) Dodge Caravan SXT 3) Chrysler 300 base 4) Dodge Magnum base.

The Liberty has proved to be too small for my job (I carry a ton of drug - no not that kind - samples in my vehicle). As I mentioned, we're thinking about keeping it as a family vehicle depending on what price they give me.

With my job and having a family of four, the minivan just made too much sense (but I was very tempted by the other choices).

We'll be at LBJ this weekend. When's the Lake Travis get together?

BTW, I just had some Firestone Destinations put on the Liberty. They have made the ride much better on the road, but I wonder how they'll do on light trails.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
