'07 Dodge 6.7L CTD 68RFE 6sp automatic - comparing with the 545RFE pics at the top of this page:

Note the immense size of the 13"dia t\c, and the way agressive turbine blade angle - four flats with increased length necessary to drive the oil pump for the tremendous tow-capacity of the big 6.7 Dodge
Larger stator shaft and input shaft - larger t\c housing and bolt pattern - lower inspection cover - larger output shaft - over half again the weight of the KJ 545RFE, yet the oil pan bolt-pattern is the same size - increased lube capacity can be seen in the pan depth and diameter of the oil cooler ports

As you can see, this p\n P52119703AA HDMST was added to inventory at 09:03:26 a.m. on 346th day of 06, verifiable by the 335th day of 06 etched on the large Cummins-sized output shaft.

How much is that doggie in the window....................

You are a great dad. I could use help like you give. I am putting myself up for adoption. You won't even have to pay for my college as I am soon to be retired. You would evn get 2 grand kids in the package.

First pics I've seen of the 68RFE trans in the RAM pickups. I have a tad over 10k miles (2k towing) on my 2007.5 RAM 3500 SRW MegaCab and all is well; another guy I know nearby has 48k on his 2007.5 RAM 3500 and he has no complaints, either.

Hemi TC installed in 07 KJ CRD - completed

Thanks to GMCTD for furnishing all the info for me to complete this.

Very nice improvement.

Image

Hemi on Left and KJ original on right. Just to show different vane angles again.

Some snaps taken whilst the install was done are here if interested. Can see flexplate, transmission, jacks, hoists etc.

UPDATE: 1500 Kilometres, going strong.
UPDATE: 3200 Kilometres, still good, includes a trip of 1600 Kilometres @ 8.9 litres per Hundred Kilometres. All kinds of driving included in this run and all kinds of velocities.
Also worth noting, is difficult to redline now, with boot into the KJ you get to around 3500+- rpm and gear changes happen quick with transgo and you are hurtling along the pavement, remember I got a stock ECU too. To redline Id say you hold your foot in top gear and wait a bit, you'll probably be going over 200 kph though to get the redline. Currently, almost 2800rpm is 160kph. The bonnet lifting is interesting also.
UPDATE: 8500 Kilometres, still running well, TCM Torque Management disconnect trial begun, seems to improve the shifting a bit, doesn't feel like the brake being tapped just before the gear change. Gear changes smooth and positive. Bonnet lifting still nice. Tyre chirping is a novelty toooo.... Transmission cooler always comfortable to touch even on hottest day, engine bay temps down. All positive so far.

Don't know about that, this is for those who furnished more than 2 dozen enquiries to me in past few months about doing this, its done, its good, the price is right and just letting people know, Im pretty sure the 2009 hemi version of this TC was not available a couple of years ago.

Well, I'd think not, since a couple of years ago it wasn't 2009 yet... :-)r

Not a matter of mileage, but a matter of smileage - the KJ TC has finite service life, where the bushings and clutch friction material deteriorates, as do all TC's - the tighter hookup of the Hemi TC is what you're after - 'nuther words, the ability to get the KJ moving at much lower rpm - no slushy wallowing forward, with 'at sucker, garonteed - try it, you'll like it..................

Here is some of the best testimony and insight available:
