I traded down from an F350 Lariat FX4 Crew Cab Long Bed when fuel prices neared $5.00 per gallon. Do the math on that when filling up a 38 gallon tank every 600 miles. Oh it was fast alright after the mods I did (Edge Evolution among other things)and really fun to drive with lots of room but hard to manuver in town compared to my Libby. I loved pouring out clouds of black smoke on extreme tune. I added the Edge Trailjammer to my Libby which gives it the pep I wanted from a 4 cyl. but you'll never get the power of a 6.0 Liter V8 from a 2.8 Liter 4 cyl. Also no clouds of black smoke :cry:
If you have the chance to drive a Libby with a tune, you might change your mind. :JEEPIN:

I would love to drive one with a tune! can you stack the trail jammer on the GDE tune??

And I don't drive too much 200 miles is a big big week! But I will be driving to Colorado soon and the lib mileage would be great but I just do not feel comfortable in them.....needs a bigger arm rest! now a CRD on dana 60's and 40's might be something that interests me ohhhh just day dreaming :D

Theoretically, you probably could stack a trail jammer... but you would not want to. GDE optimizes for performance/mileage within the CRD's safe operating range. If you want a little extra grunt, you would want the GDE Hot Tune.

Where are you at? There may be a LOSTer nearby who could give you a chance to test out a GDE Tuned CRD.

I am just outside the Twin Cities....

Does anybody have any pics of a liberty on Dana 60's??? Ive searched and found alot of D30 swaps and a few D44's but nothing huge....
