How much Miles/Kilometers is the friction material in the limited slip diff good for before I need it replaced or overhauled?

The Wrangler Rubicon comes with a Low ratio of 4.1 i think. can I fit that transfer case to the Liberty CRD? it will help with Crawling.

MOPAR factory bits ......for now.
60mm Home lift. spacers front and coil springs rear.
Future: (1) LSD front. (2) Locker rear. (3) If possible Rubicon transfercase.

When the engine fails a 4.0l V8 smallblock.

diff:

are you talking about the LSD itself or the friction modifier additive in terms of service life? The friction modifier has to be put in every time you service the gear oil naturally

most of the mopar LSD's have a rather short service life in terms of effective locking

I was refering to the actual LSD holding out. The additive is usual replacement with diff but the LSD is suspect to me. Sometime it rips my head off and other times not.

True track or locker, here I COME.
