So the Libby was parked on some residual snow last, not the issue. When I went out to move it o remove the rest of the snow, I found little droplets of green luquid all over. The snow that had melted, left an oily residue much like a slick does. I checked the fuel head and it looks dry, I did not pull the engine cover off but I will in the morning. Anyone els have this? It is not centrally located but it is behind the front axles, more on the drivers but all over. Something tells me it is fuel dripping from somewhere. I am off because of the storm as the base is closed ot lack of snow handling equipment. So I have a day to look it over.

Well I thought the same but it does not smell like diesel. I have never seen this before and I am prettty darn good about checking for leaks everyday. Any ideas where it is coming from?

The only other green I can think of is antifreeze... But I think mine is redish orange.

If it's not diesel, I'm thinking coolant... but on the driver's side behind the front axle? Isn't that where the fuel line runs?

Oh it is a CRD, if not this 3.7 I4t has been running great on diesel since April 2006.

I have checked all the fluids and the only one that is green is the fuel. Once the weather gets better I wil throw down some cardboard and start looking. I wiped around the fuelhead and it is all dry, I am worried it is something on the underside. I have been driving through deep snow so maybe somethign has broken , maybe a return line?

What does it look like a green snow cone, or is it very thick drips, differential lube? But I agree the diesel would be the greenest of them all, if it were the green (should be orange) anti freeze, I doubt it would sit on top of the snow.

There is a wif sensor screwed in the bottom of the filter. It could be a little loose.

Maybe those green droplets were from another vehicle parked there before yours. :2cents:

No chance, I am the only one that parks in that space in the driveway. Plus with the snow, no one else could have parked there.

Mostly it was single drops, one spot spread to about 1.25" but that was all. Had it been diff, it would have gelled and stayed. This kind of melted the snow but spread out. i am keeping an eye on it tonight as there is new snow.
