Has any one with a 06 or 07 KJ installed a DTT in to their KJ?

All input is welcome as well :P

ive been doing my research for something to put in the front of mine when i get the arb put in the rear. i got a deal on the arb and doubt ill find another on the front. i dont want to put in an auto locker cause i drive in snow and dont want the front end doing what it wants to, so ive been looking for an lsd. from reviews and what i have found searching other forums the truetrac is probably the best lsd. if youre gonna spend the money though idk if i would go with a lsd rear. so i gues ill have a locked rear, when necessary, and a limited slip front end. the thing i think that will work to our advantage with the dtt is the esp. you can give slight brakes if one wheel gets hung up in the air and it helps lock the axle to bring traction to the tire still making contact. well the esp does just that with the brakes so everything should be kosher, im thinkin anyway...

lets hear some real reviews though :JEEPIN:

I put the DTT in teh rear of my 05. Very easy install. Just remember, the ring gear bolts are left hand thread.

As for traction, much better than the open diff, definitely not a locker though. If I had to do over again, I would put the Detroit No-Spin in the rear, and the DTT in the front. there have been times where the DTT would not engage the wheel on ice, even with brake pedal and ebrake modulation.

05 - but I put in front and rear DTT's

they work great - the rear needs a special tool to go in an torque the bolt - without that you're guessing.

The front was a shim measurement - no problem
