Also like to see how you are bolting them on better, I know how many bolts and how tough the ARBs are. So just wondering if these would be half as tough. Hate to have to hook on one someday and see it flying through the air

I bolted mine on with 4 grade 8 bolts on top through the upper cross member and I used 4 of the existing mount points from the tow hooks for the bottom. I also made a 1/4" thick steel plate for each side and the upper bolts run through those and they act as extra surface load to spread out on. I have winched myself up a 4 foot rock, had a CJ8 literally get a running start and yank my jeep off a log and had countless other recoveries with it. It has never budged in the slightest bit.

Inc I knew yours would be bolted and attached very well!

Just curious on others as to what they were doing

Me too, actually.

4 grade 8 bolts, two in the top, two in the front with Big thick fender washers behind.

mine is sturdy, but I do not in any way intend it to be a recovery point.

I have 4 grade8 bolts on the top for now but I am working on a set of braces for the bottom to bolt up to the unibody rails on the bottom so I can add a winch plate. I will work on getting better pics when I get it mounted better.

THANKS everyone. I guess just from being around for 35 plus years doing this crap, you see some things that look great but up close scary as he&&, if you know what I mean.

Well I even did some scary stuff back in the 1970s

Lots of difference between the two types but My ARB has hit a car and 3 deer plus several rocks so I know what it can take. The TJ bumpers look good but just like I said wondering how you were mounting to make them good and strong

Thanks again!
