31/10.5/15 Mickey Thompson MTZs on 15 x 7 steelies.
Custom lift. approx 4inches.
"The Belafonte" was first commissioned in May 2004, after an initial period of being a person Daily Driver, ferrying simple passenger folk around town, it then was intoduced to "dirt" at Landcrusier Mountain Park in late 2006. Upon failing to drive successfully in the carpark area, It was destined for greater things, so many discussions with Hammonds insued and a Old Man Emus lift was settled upon, (with a few magic ingredients) and the first incarnation of "The Belafonte" as an overland exploration vehicle was created. Mr ARB was then visited to procure a Bullbar, to protect against the Hopping Death on its Maiden Exploration Adventure across Queensland and into South Australia. The first set of tyres were Cooper STT's but, thse have been traded for Mickey Thompson MTZ's now.
One of the greatest hurdles The Belafonte had to endure was its thirst for fuel, and air, a cargo box was fitted into the rear to organise storage, roof rack for additioinal storage, a snorkel to let him breath a little easier, a a frigde to help me breath a little easier. Full set of armour was fitted to protect his goolies from those bugger rocks that all the tracks seem to have in them these days, why in my day, there were no rocks, they hadn't been invented yet, there was just volcanos and dinosours to worry about blah blah blah..... but I digress, He has been on many wonderful adventures and met many wonderful people. Funny things People, they are just like sausages, no two are exactly the same and some don't even eat corn, but, I don't discriminate and let sausages be sausages no matter what.
What was I on
