It's raining YET AGAIN!!!!! Still cannot finish painting the flares in this weather... I'm seriously considering just dropping them down to a panel shop to finish for me in their spray booth so I can get the changeover done.

I'll get on this weekend and try to upload some pics, I normally would do it from work, but they have blocked image servers so I cant access mine. I'm actually going to the Races on Saturday, so I think I will just continue with wiring and stuff on Sunday, look to see if I have fog light wiring harnesses already waiting for the fog lights, that way I can then see if I can switch the light stalk on the steering column over, plus looking at designing a new rear storage unit with a built in battery conpartment , and modular/removable storage boxes. I want to wire in the 240volts inverter and have it inside the storage system.

Still so much to do, Lucky the drought broke just as I need dry weekends.

How can every computer in the house all die at the same time :banghead: :banghead:

finally got one working - so Chris if you still have it please pm me a price on the cooler

and how to overheat a transmission on the wettest weekend in the year.. try 4 people 300Kgs of wet batteries and a 750Kg unbraked trailer driving on flooded slick dirt roads that have lots of long 13% hills torn to pieces by the rain, plus lots of slow travel and no momentum. three times in 40Ks

All up it cost me 220.00 I think. I dont have any mounting plates for it as I destroyed them taking it out. I have all the wiring, relay, hoses, and brass hose joins. Missing a few hose clamps. So, I dont really know what to ask??? But I can help with instalation.

The slow travel, NO Momentum bit I understand, that will do it every time, thats the beauty of having the thermo fan on it. I specificlly wanted it to keep things cool when crawling, but it works very very well all the time.

Tried painting again on the weekend, but the rain/ moisture got into the paint, and pressto , crazed. I'm definately dropping them to a panel shop and getting them to do the job..

Was thinking though. I was / am painting them white, but I have seen a few pics with light coloured KJs with Dark Grey flares bumpers and Grill, and must say, I do like the combo ( , so thinking if I am going to have a shop do it, maybe get them to match the grey of the ARB bar, and do my grill as well....

Any Thoughts??????

Kinda like "German_Diesel"s from KJcountry.

Add me onto the "contrasting trim" side of the list.

I like the contrasting approach. The Grill, bumper, guards yes indeed.

What about extending the contrast across the lower door panels and maybe do a Foose type blend line airbrushed at the fold above the Cherokee band.

And while I'm rambling on about it - I really like the Liberator hood panel treatment (in your grey colour of course), again with a lighter grey blend tone airbrushed on the fold line to accent the raised sections. Sweet.

You might as well make it the way you want it.
