I have a problem.

My Liberty is at Adams jeep. I spoke a minute ago with the people in the shop. They are telling me it will not be ready until around mid day tomorrow.

I don’t want to miss the fun and festivities. So I was thinking. If I came up without the jeep I can ride the trails with someone. Anybody mind shotgunner?

Hey Jason, Sorry to hear about your Jeep.

Come up if you can. I personally would be P.O'd.

We'll see you and your KJ together someday.

Edgar

BTW, you are down for the buffet?

Hey guys and gals, I haven't forgotten about the ride. We have been busy at work and on the home front. I am still not sure if I am able to make it. Still not sure what Jeep I am bringing either. The TJ is lifted with no skids at all except for the factory ones. The KJ has the front 2 skids off. Took them off months ago to have the shop fix the pinion seal on the front drive shaft. The KJ and I haven't been getting along lately, seems like everytime I turn around there is something or another going wrong. Just got it back from the shop 2 days ago. Fan module went, and caused the KJ to overheat really bad. Anyway, enough of the sad talk. LOL. I will know by later this evening what I am doing about the ride. Snow should be no problem, we only got about 4 1/2 inches last weekend. I live about 15 minutes from Paragon, so I don't think they got much more, prolly less as they are north of me. We had warm temps the past 3 days now, all the snow is gone from my ride home, so it shouldn't be bad. I would love to bring the TJ for its first off road adventure, just don't wanna catch a rock on the oil pan. 4" of lift I should be ok, just worries me. LOL. Even if we do go on the ride, I know that we won't be able to do the dinner, maybe we can come up later in the evening for drinks and such, but dinner is out for us. Sorry it has taken so long to post, just has been carzy. :P

Jason, you're more than welcome to ride with me if you dont mind the lower view and extensive scrapping sounds due to lack of lift....or my 6 year old son in the back seat...or me kicking you out to snap a picture now and then.

Hey Jae! I have a 4" suspension, 2" body lift on my YJ and I'm running on 32's. The only skid I have other than the x-fer and fuel is a silly little plate on the bottom of my oil pan. I have had no problems and I don't think we will be doing anything that extreem. My oil pan is 17" off the ground. I'm getting ready to leave for Baltimore for 9 ball playoffs and will spend the night in Harrisburg. See you all in the a.m.

Sorry guys. I think I will have to set this one out. With out the jeep and some other problems at work that have popped up. I need to stay down here. You all need to take lots of picks and let us know how the trip was.

Mike, sorry I couldn’t make your farewell run. Good luck to you and Wendy on your move out west.

See you all next mouth.
Jason

I will be up there for the ride with my co-pilot AJ. Temps will be in the mid 20's tomorrow, like Mike said, DRESS WARM. Snow will not be a prb. as almost 99.9% of it has melted. I am bringing the TJ, I'll take 4" no skids over 2.5" no front skids any day. See ya all at the Exxon.

We`re HEEEEEE-RRREEE! ;)

Jason, we`ll miss ya. At least we got to trail with you before. Hopefully, we`ll be able to make it down here in the future and wheel with you again.

Jae, great to hear that. I`m looking forward to seeing everyone in the morning and miss everyone that couldn`t make it.

Mike

As always this was a great trip. The one thing that would have made this run more enjoyable. Would have been a $*@% running jeep! (But, I'm not bitter) Dave: thanks again for letting me ride with you.

As promised here are some photos. I don't have time to get them all up this morning. This at least takes us to lunch. I will post the others tonight.

First some teasers:
The man of the hour. Mike on his farewell trip.

And the crowd

These are low res. If anyone wants a higher quality pic. Send me a PM with your email, the photo number, and size. I can provide up to 3008x2000 pixels for most of them.
