I'm ok with the O'hare oasis again and Matt should meet us at the Hinsdale oasis too...

I was in Attica yesterday and the have had no snow for a while - I had no time to sneak to Badlands, but.... expected for this week is some snow and really cold couple days - we'll see how it plays out....

Have fun and wheel safe. I'm not going to attica again until Fathers Day weekend....I've been there 3 times this year already, and I'm getting to know every bump on every trail a bit too well.

I think if we each bring 1 pack, we should be fine. I still have condiments from the last run.

any final thoughts before we freeze our butts in Attica? - I'm packing all things to stay warm on the trail this weekend
Forecast: 20% showers - so, NO SHOWERS & sunny
This afternoon, mid Indiana was blanketed with hail & strong showers -so... It will be muddy
good luck cleaning those rigs with MTr's - Matt, Paul, & Don

Now that I know it poured, I may bring the TJ. I'm not sure how the stock tires will grab, I don't want to keep getting strapped out. It will be a last minute decision... darn, 4:45 is earrrllllyyy.

If it gets as cold as forcasted ( 0-15 ) we may have more ice than mudd.

Who is going to be "trail Boss"?

I was thinking we'd throw robert's brother in law up there, or Eddo possibly. Both have a bit more experience, although Eddo knows rocks better than mud.

I think we'll do fine if we use our heads.

Bring the KJ! A lot of us will be in the same boat with A/Ts. Plus I would like some company if I get stuck in the mud ;) Anyways it will probably be more ice than mud. Tonight it is suppose to get down to 10 degree and Saturday a high of 19 degress. Glad the heat in my KJ works!

I'd advise everyone to be VERY careful with tire spin in the ice and ruts. I've been on trips in these conditions in my old CJ and many rigs on the trip ended up with tire sidewall damage resulting in a lot of tire changing(including myself). Be careful!

We might end up just avoiding the water altogether.... there is plenty of non-icy places we can do
Besides... last time we were there, we did some new places we hadn't done before - we might re-visit that and do some of the ones we did in November.
Bring Gloves ! we will need them...:)

That's what I'm talking about.

Bring on the mud, cold, rain, ice and hot dogs with leftover condiments from the last run.

Yep, left em to marinate in the back of the KJ all month. Should be nice and flavorful.

J/K. They have been living an unexciting month in my fridge.
