Mine has already had the F37. It is documented under the hood, by the previous owned and in Chrysler's records.

On another topic, the Injector pump came in yesterday, I should have my Jeep back with the new TC today.

Myself and others have found the TCM was not updated when the F37 TSB/Recall was done on our CRDs.

My CRD also shows the F37 reflash was done, by Jeep, the sticker on the TCM, paperwork from the dealership, et.al. Yet my TCM survived without reflash :?:

The test takes about 2min on an on-ramp, and is worth every second to know for sure if the Jeep tech working on your CRD actually did the reflash, or just checked the box so he didn't risk bricking the TCM.

Well, with your CRD at the dealer getting the TC/pump replaced, lets hope it was an already flashed TCM. :banghead:

Jeep is back!!! Fresh new TC and Injector pump.

They said the pump "blew up" shards of metal and all. What's up with that?!?!

Short drive home, I was nto able to create the shudder, next time I tow my camper I will know for sure.

You may just have the early signs of shudder. Are you able to feel a fast repeating vibration in the steering wheel, seat, or on the dash? The noise will grow more pronounced over time as the clutch wears and springs relax. The issue should only be possible when the trans is "locked-up", the engine rpm between 1650-2100, and a heavy pedal (just before reaching the downshift point ~65% pedal travel). Try it in 3rd with O/D off if 5th gear is not very repeatable.

I know is an old post , I have the same issue , but I have the shudder or the early sings , Sounds like a small impact wrench or It's like hitting the rumble strips at full speed , like some one had described , the only difference is that I hear this noise and vibration in all gear and less in lock-up , if I put in fulltime the noise seem to be decreased , another strange thing , in fulltime mode if I stop in D the engine rpm go near 700 rpm and steering wheel and dash ,vibrate , some time if I start after a stop the transmission give me a kick like a manual transmission when you do not modulate the friction , some time when i put in R I hear a "grrrrrrrrrr" like in manual transmission and when put the selector in D after N Kick again , is only a TC problem or I need a full rebuild ???

thanks guys

Marco
