I have a Toshiba Satellite with Windows 7:

When I'm not using it I put it on "sleep". That works fine! Just don't lightly bump the desk because it will wake up. How can I turn this thing off that causes it to do that?

Terry

If you go into the control panel you should be able to set the sleep settings and it should have a sensitivity setting. My wife has a toshiba laptop with Win7 and I'll ask her if that happens to her, I have Win7 on my work laptop (Dell) and I have a hard time "waking" it up :)
