Long Island KK Lift

so i will be lifting my KK... I'm pretty new to this whole thing so i might need some help or have questions... any long island guys care to help me out

i'm doing a rock krawler lift ( doing front and rear bilstein shocks, I'm also doing JBA UCAs...... i'll eventually switch over to JBA 2.5" springs and maybe even do the full spring lift but its a start

while i have the thing apart i might bang the pinch weld down a bit too ( maybe trim it???) since i have a little rub, the lift should fix it but i'd still like a bit more clearance.

any tips/feedback would be helpful... even if anyone knows of any good shops just in case i cant do it myself... thanks

I did my lift in my KJ never did a KK but Ill try and help out. Try and hook up with Infernicus he just got a lift for his KJ and may be we can bang out two in one day.

id be down to give a hand. Give me a compressor, jack hammer, scotch tape, and bubble gum and ill give you a 3 inch MacGyver still lift.

Disclaimer: VMKJCRD will not be held responsible if bubble gun and scotch tape doesnt hold the lift together

where is everyone located... i'm in bethpage in nassau county... i should have all the parts within 2 weeks... whos up for the lift party??? the more people/ knowledge the better... the lift im doing is fairly simple im replacing my UCAs and then im repleacing my CVs and adding a spacer... shocks will be done in both the front n back also

Im between Patchogue and Bethpage.

Do you have all the needed tools for the install? Do the front shocks and struts come preassembled?

to be honest i dont kno... the front shocks/sturts came today i can send a pic... i kno im gunna need a spring compressor and i dont have one... i got pretty much every size socket under the sun and a comperssor with impact wrench etc... anything else i will need( i actually dont have jackstands and a jack yet but i could borrow my friends if i had to

pictures will be up tonight fellas... i been ridiculously busy with work and school and im also in the process of ripping out my dad's truck interior and laying down some bedliner...

lol thanks guys.... still waiting on a few more parts the RK clevis and the rear isos came today just waiting on my bigger rear shocks

Just saw this thread, I haven't been on the board in a while..
I'm in Queens, work in Hicksville/Westbury.
I was at Borello(?) field last week for the Bethpage Baseball little league photos.

I'm always around, more or less, weekends tend to be a little busy. I would've had my lift in this weekend, but sooooo much work.
