Hey everyone, so yesterday we cut out the upper mounts for the CO's, and i put the front and rear axle together finally. Next weekend we well be doing the welding for the LCO mounts on the axle. Also once the axle is sitting in the right place for the coilovers to work properly, we well check the steering. Right now we can some degrees to play with since we are using a JK box. Well update next saturday

The build is going slowly. just lost are welder, so atm trying to find a new welder(a person lol) to help us finish.

As well, the military is keeping me very busy. I leave in May for a few months so the build has to be done soon or atleast close to be doing before i leave. So the mad rush for a welding guy is needed lol.

Did you have ABS and ESP on your CRD? If so, are you planning on getting ABS ready axles or are you bypassing the ABS and ESP? It looksl ike I'll have to get rid of the ABS and ESP on my build that is currently underway in Phoenix. I'm planning on pulling the fuses and then the bulbs from the dash and then seeing about a BCM flash that won't contain the ABS and ESP programming. Just curious if you have had to think about this as well? Thanks and look forward to hearing more about your CRD build!!!

Your going to loose your speedo also since your ABS sensors operate your speedo in '06+ KJ's,not sure if my speedo fix would interface with the ABS system(highly doubt it).Not having a speedo can make things fun,and not talking about knowing how fast your going, many systems rely on the speedo to operate your vehicle(engine and trans are the big ones).

That is for the ABS pump, the brain box is still reading and reporting wheel speed to the BCM and PCM.Only for '06+ KJ's.

When my speedo quit working after swamping it a couple weeks ago I didn't have any problems with anything except for knowing how fast I was going and no cruise. :2cents:

We're doing a re-wire from the t-case to the back of the speedo so then the speed sensor will read properly without trying to interface with the ABS sensors (since they'll be gone). I forget what the methodology was that I had discussed with the guys at Kevin's Offroad but they had it pretty much figured out since they have done it before on ZJs, WJs and WKs. So I reckon we'll see what happens from there...???

I'll keep you informed as we progress through the build. Or rather they progress through it since i'm in Utah...

That is about what were doing. We are using a sensor from a Rubicon t-case.

Promised pic's. Nothing far past this point. I rebuilt Both front and rear axle, and the T-case. T-case is now attached to the Tranny, and the rear axle is going in here shortly. the unibody metal is getting welded up here very very soon.

Here ya go.
D44 with 4.56's and ARB air locker, Riddle diff Cover, and disc brake upgrade
