Here are some of the things I use:

http://www.terraserver.com/

http://www.terraserver-usa.com/default.aspx

http://terraserver.microsoft.com/

http://www.topozone.com/

I get aerial photos from Terraserver USA and topo maps from topozone. You can buy full topo maps from topozone but what I do is do a bunch of screen captures then stitch them together in Photoshop when I want to make one large map...same thing with the aerial photos in Terraserver. What you can also do is just get a screen capture of each map section and then cut out each map and print it on its own page...Then you just have to flip through them during your trip...makes it a lot easier when driving the trails if you can just flip though your maps. I save each trip in its own folder for future reference.

This one works great and is free. Make sure you try the aerial view with the birds eye view for a close up shot if you are in a high def area. works awesome for me ..

Hey store, where in Vegas do you live. I am just curious, cuz I know of only 2 or 3 people on here, (well ones that post anyways) that are from the City of Sin.

I've traced some of my mountain bike trails using NASA's Worldwind software. Google maps is pretty good, but in some cases I like worldwind better. You can swap between different satellite maps and you can even load up topo (topo on contour is pretty nifty). So long as tree cover is not a problem, I'd recommend scouting out unfamiliar areas with these tools.

THose sites are great for getting trail views of MOAB. You can pick out most of the trails pretty easily from there.
