hey guys, well i did it my first ever jeep. been around them but lately been a dodge cummins guy.
Have a 2004 renegade i just picked up with about 50,000miles. This one was plagued with absolute horrible mileage about 12-15 per gallon. Took back to dealer. they gave tune up and replaced broken egr. Much better havent had time to figure out for sure yet.Can someone give me a run down on problem areas that i should look for.

Do you know what the tune-up included? Kinda helps narrow down things. The MPG of a libby isn't going to be fantastic though, no matter how hard you try or how much money you throw at it. Ease up on the lead foot and it will be the best thing you ever did.

As for problem area's it all depends in what you have or what you want to do with your Jeep.

thanks guys. tune up was new egr, new plugs and fuel system clean. i put a k&n in it. checked on the weekend now over 20 mpg at 65 mph.
