I did it. I think middle age may have taken over and the toy buying has begun. First two pistols. Now a motorcycle.

This exact same color and accessories shown. Looks exactly like this one minus the white background (HA!).

With gas prices going to be over $3/gallon soon and the KJ sucking up 15mpg (14.5 city), it was time to get a 45mpg fun ride.

It arrives around Noon Friday. I'm excited but can't ride until I get the license. Monday or Tuesday.

I had to go buy overhead storage racks so I can put my Maxxis Bighorns up out of the way so the Vulcan can fit in my garage.

I am not a biker, but I have made an observation over my life, Harleys pick up more women.

I will pass no quantitative ( :ROTFL: ) or qualitative ( :ROTFL: ) judgment on any women one may pick up with a Harley.

I am sure we can all name female celebrities (like Rosie O'Donnell) who would never get hit on at any biker convention.

After all, bikers do have some class, even the rough ones.

Good luck Tokyojoe.

Vulcan in the garage. KJ left out in the cold nights until I can rearrange the garage and they still might not both fit.

Completed Motorcycle Safety Course this weekend. Woo Hoo! Now to go get the new licensea nd turn in my paperwork to the Base Safety office to ger reimbursed for the class and to be allowed to "cruise" to work.

Boy did I have to clean up my garage to get the Vulcan and my KJ to fit in it at the same time. Just a few inches (about 2-3") to spare. With the spare sticking out and the Rock Lizard front bumper and winch, it was close. I have to get out and check as I inch forward, check, inch forward, etc.....

Suggestion: Hang a tennis ball from the ceiling to hit your windshield when you are at your stopping point in the garage.

And if you get tired of how much space the bumper and winch are taking up, PM me and I can help you with that problem. . . .

Tennis ball already has been hanging for years. Now it needs to be relocated since the new overhead storage blocks that entire area. Sometimes it is hard to tell if the rear glass has hit the tennis ball. I back in.

absolutely gorgeous ride bro!

ive had a few bikes, mostly ducati's and had a older vulcan, mileage on them was about that, bout 50mpg

now i had a 250R ninja and it got about 125 MPG and for some dang reason i sold it

wasn't real fun to ride, but it was good enough for a here to there for non-recreational purposes

are you going to convert the headlights an LED unit or anything like that?

how many miles have you put on it so far ? :P
