I wish I could get an iPhone but until they are supported by something other than the lousy AT&T network it isn't an option for me. I can really relate to the Verizon commercials about the minimal AT&T coverage map. I used to have a phone on the AT&T network but when I moved to my current house, I had to go outside and stand in the front yard to use it.

The coverage is so marginal at my house, it won't work indoors (and no it wasn't the phone itself, several different AT&T phones from different manufacturers all had the same problem here). Apparently AT&T has spent all of their money covering urban areas and they don't care much about rural areas. Both Sprint and Verizon have strong coverage where I live.
I like how the Verizon commercials talk about AT&T's poor "3G coverage" and the AT&T commercials that are supposed to counter the Verizon commercials only talk about "coverage" and not "3G coverage." Really deceptive and obviously trying to cover up the fact that their network is clearly and profoundly inferior to their competition. It's hard to understand why Apple went with them. If you live in a city, AT&T is probably fine as long as you don't stray to far.
Just my

By the way, I voted for black.
I had the same problem with Verizon at my last duty station in Washington. I would literally have to go 2 blocks down the road to check my messages or make a call with my BB. Their CS wasn't the best in my opinion either.
AT&T, never had a problem with. Always had good signal, coverage, and 3G or Edge no matter where I was.
