What have you done to your KK lately

Ding ding ding ding ding! :JEEPIN:

I wanted to get it all installed and make sure there were no small issues that needed worked out with Detours before I let the cat out of the bag. More to come though, hopefully shortly. I'm not entirely certain on the ship date but I know about 8-10 day mark is comin up. :mrgreen:

Detours said they have not sold one for the KK yet but one had been fitted on a test vehicle. The mounting and everything is the same it just comes down to bumper trimming really. From pictures it seems that the plate will stick out further and lower in comparison to the grill on older models but shouldn't be by a whole lot of difference, maybe inch or two here or there.

Ordered some recovery gear for it today (recovery strap, receiver shackle, shackle). Once I have it, maybe it will be a good luck charm and I'll never get stuck. :lol:

Hauled some junk to the dump in my KK today. While I was there, a Wrangler showed up with an old hot tub on a trailer. The hot tub was in two big pieces. I guess they had to take a chain saw to it (or something equally violent) to get it out of wherever it was (either that or Godzilla took a bite out of it... that would ruin a good soak

).

Also ordered some stuff from moparpartsamerica.com. Nutserts so I can install my radiator skid plate (no way I was going to pay the dealer $5.95 each :furious:

). Got a few extra so if they ever fail I don't have to wait for an order to come in to replace them. Also got a rubber mat for the rear cargo area.

Digger if I were you I'd just take the power washer to it...

Yesterday I fixed up some wiring and organized the truck a bit.

Well anyway today a few things happened... First I purchased some Primer and some paint for an upcoming project. Then I took some stock flex shots at my house, managed to pop one of the rivets out of the rear fender... woops... fixed that and then I took her to Bethpage State Park and went through a few muddy puddles( you can't wheel here but no one was really around and i couldnt resist splashin around). Finally I went to work and got a delivery of my OEM hitch that I bought form a guy off Craigslist.

So here's my question... as far as wiring for the 5 pin connector what do i need to get?

oh and for the record i plan on having the hitch installed sometime this week which gives me my first recovery point(D-Ring)... you know what that means... I'm getting stuck ::cough cough:: Pausing to pose for shots :twisted:

Also should have the lift in soon... it's pretty busy with school this week/Weekend coming up cause i have finals so it may have to wait another week

But I might be able to put on my front light bar and front tow hooks, so at least I might get something done

Not sure what you mine with 5 pin usually 4 or 7 way connector. 4 is lights for something like a utility trailer. 7 is lights, brakes, power for camper or heavier trailer. Mopar has both.I have the 7 way but have not hooked up a brake controller yet. Real easy to install with perfect fit for the Mopar hitch.

Drove it to a place that I've been helping out at, as a non-employee. For 2 or 3 times a week, for about $10.00 a day over sitting at home collecting unemployment.
Drove it home as a FULL TIME EMPLOYEE WITH BENIFTS. :BANANA:

I plan mods all the time. :lol:

But I still have many other expenses,and I'm not making what I was before. So I still need to sell somethings. Like my dirt bike its listed on here.I'm just can't make up my mind about my V10. I have never been without a pick-up.Even though its mostly been parked for over 2 years.
