I'm trying to decide which tire (size 245/70/16) to go with on my daily driver (no off-roading). The only 2 things making me lean towards the revo's are the "T" speed rating against the BFG's "S" rating and the load ratings. I assume the revo's would be a smoother ride. MPG's would also be a factor. Any suggestions? :?:

X2... the only way you'll get it to 120 is if you air drop it out of a C130

Makes sense guys. Howbout the load rating? Does it really make your ride much harsher?

My experience with the REVO is that you won't get 25k outta it. The BFG is a much longer lasting tire.

I assume the BFG is also a more durable tire as well compared to the Revo? I think the Revo's are much lighter too. Wouldn't that be a factor in MPG's?

Yes, IMHO, load rating effects ride. The extra unsprung weight of heavy-arsed tires also effects on-road mileage & performance. If you do not need an LT tire, get a P-series. It comes down to being honest with your intended usage.

True. It wouldn't make sense to get the BFG since I do no off roading. All that extra weight would put more stress on my tranny.
