I've tried BF Muds but don't like it as Coopers.
Cooper is quite less "noisy" tire and goes almost everywere. In fact you don't hear it at all at highway.
It's better than the malatesta kayman even in the terra cause malatestas used to dig.
It's only minus against the malatesta is when you get buried in mud.

I thought 4.10s were only good for like 32s...? With the extra weight of the armor, plus those oversize tires... maybe you could look into throwing JBAs steel dif in there...? then you would be able to put lower gears in and overcome those large tires and weight...? just a thought...

4.10's and 32's work well together. The main problem is one could run larger tires with 4.10, but the diff can't handle it. Now, if he rolls a steel one, he could gear down to 4.88....

I'm thinking quite serious about the steel diff (dana 30).
But i've heard that for speeds like 80 to 100mph (highways) you must not run bigger gears than 4.56.
Is that true??

difficult to run 4.88's without really turning the motor

with 0.71 ratio Overdrive (couldn't remember if the 45 has a 0.71 or 0.6 something OD) but anyway, with an 0.71 OD, 4.88 gears, and 32" tires, at 80 mph it's at about 2910 RPM or about 2400 at 65MPH it's doable, but not comfortable a 4.56 is about 2200 at 65 and 2700 at 80,

the 4.10s are about 1980 at 65 and 2500 at 80

I think this is the first 6” JBA kit I’ve seen out in action. It's nice to see something different than the usual Frankenlift.

He is rolling on 33s now with the 4.10
