XJ's unibodys WEAR OUT! Put that CRD into a TJ of sorts.

Ya, thats not true.

It sure the hell is! I had a built XJ that I wheeled for years. All the trails in Washington, Fordyce Creek, the Rubicon, the Dusy Trail, MOAB etc etc. They wear out! That unibody isnt very strong. The unibody of the KJ is the strongest Jeep has every produced. The XJ isnt! Youre better off putting that CRD into a framed truck!

Maybe you can be a little bit more specific. What wears? How is that attributable to unibodied vehicles? Please don't just throw out those blanket statements without backing them up.

Known issue for XJ's as it was there 1st attempt at a "uniframe" vehicle. The KJ's uniframe is something like 10 times stronger then the XJ's and the KK's is something like 10 times as strong as the KJ's.

There are some various places that can cause problems and lead to localized failures.

The only people that have catastropic failure of the unibody structure are people that make tjkj2002's jeep look like a mall crawler. When you get to that point you start to see interesting failures.

Most everything else is just reinforcing 4link mounts, roll cages etc, that you do when you get to that stage.

Not saying that the KJ and KK aren't progressively stronger, but saying the XJ body is going to wear out is just silly.

As evidence there are plenty of 25 year old XJ's still running around, subject to all sorts of abuse, that the body has not worn out on.
