I have a 06 crd with 51,000 miles. In the past few months I have noticed that after not driving it for a day or more it won't move. When I go to back out of my driveway it takes a while of reving at 1000 rpm or puting it in neutral then back to reverse then it works fine. If it is the t/c i will get a Suncoast. Or could it be something else?

Try changing both transmission filters - there's a drainback valve that's sticky and doesn't hold pressure like it should - new filters should fix that.

Oh and check the oil level when warm, idling and in park.

X2 on filters and fluid.
If that does not fix it, the check valve in the pump is bad. If you go with the SunCoast/Transgo the new valve kit comes with the Transgo shift kit. What sold me on the SunCoast is the billet front cover that gives the little 4 cylinder more flywheel and smooths it out.The Transgo is cheaper than a new pump and helps the shifting too.

PM me if you want the skinny on TCM tunes not ready to release.

Just give it 30 seconds when you start it. It's fairly typcial for the TC to drain after its been sitting for that long.
