found some microsuede and faux leather material for cheap, so i picked it up. tossing ideas around for some areas on the interior.

just did a temp job to see how the center console would look with microsuede on it...here is a preview, just gotta find a good upholstery place by me.

did a little bit of work today... trimmed my rear bumper to make room for my mopar hitch... installed my D ring peice, then as a joke hooked the strap up to my truck in front of my dad's and told him I'd be pullin him out.. lol

alsotook a snap shot of me next to a ridiculously lifted pickup... the tires were honestly the height of my hood... i'll post the pic later.

if i can catch a break next week i'm gunna take off my front bumper, install my tow hooks and my bumper light bar... prob wont wire the hellas up right away but they will be mounted... after my finals its lift time... i am itching to get it installed

Mid install of the Detours Backbone. Hit a few snags so far. Two sets of the holes dont line up, nothing that a drill bit shouldnt fix and also the oem radiator skid will not fit without some slight modification. Have to go get a new drill bit now, disassemble, drill, reassemble and then onto the daunting task of cutting the front bumper. Ill have pictures and a how to to post up whenever i get the time.

Got the front end changed over from a Daystar 2" lift to a JBA 2.5" coil lift and 5.5 UCA's. Still need to get the rear changed (Daystar to JBA). Probably wont get that done until next week. Went to the Jeep Rally for Life event (Troy, Ohio) to help raise money for cancer research. Scraped the crap out of the underside on one of the course obstacles. No real damage, but need skids!!!!!! Fun event. Lots of good LOST people. Overwhelmingly a Wrangler event, but the Liberties were well represented by LOST members.

yesterday I boat a compressor that has clips to connect to the battery... will come in handy when i needed air up after doing a little wheeling at the beach... in the kit also came a key to release air.... ( i myself used to do the pebble trick but hey it was in there) and a tire tire plugs.... also in the kit was that slime stuff but i tossed that as its bad for your tires.
Also got a class 4 hitch pin with a lock to keep any accesories i get my my hitch ( right now my d-ring) from being stolen

cleaned the interior today and prepped a few things for paint... it was way to windy here on long island to use any type of paint... dont wanna make a mess or how it come out dust coated.... haha

Mom went to the ER on 5-6 and probably won;t get out till this Thursday.... The doctor finally figured out that she had Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy. If you read in to what it is, you will understand why the last 3 weeks have been so hard on me...... Plus if the news I got Friday pans out, Digger is going on a world tour

No, due to all that has been going on, I haven't been able to post that I also got a new job. I start it in about 8 hours :dizzy:

Basically I'll be building the generator section of wind turbines, or so I am told

Congrats Digger and Cherrie on the jobs!!!!

DirtyKK, I have been thinking about that backbone system for about 6 months now but just couldn't get up the confidence to cut the bumper. I am very interested in hearing about your experience with that part.

As far as my jeep is concerned, just changed the oil and preparing to clean some rust off of the skids.
