Oh well though. In reference to the P rated tires, have you ever been offroad with them? I know C, D, and E have all been out there but I can't think of anyone bragging out their P rated ripping up trails and not their tires. Just looking for feedback, not judging.

12,168 lbs. That's how much 4 "E" tires are designed to support. No joke. Do you need that on a Jeep that weighs 1/3 of that amount??
I have wheeled P, C, D, E pretty much whatever is on the market. I've owned everything from compact Wranglers to full size 4-door pickups. I've towed everything from lawn tractors to 28,000 lb. heavy equipment. I've wheeled in rocks, mud, stumps, water, snow, ice, sand, etc. And I'm telling you...these current "P" tires I'm running are NOT mushy at all. I'd put them up against any "E" tire on the market in the rocks and stumps offroad. Very rugged tires. And they handle every 6,500 lb. trailer I'm throwing at them right now. A Jeep is a passenger vehicle, and it just so happens that "P" stands for Passenger Vehicle... so that's why they are on here.
I think the ride quality is great, the cornering is excellent, and the traction is phenomenal. The hundreds of thousands of miles people at tirerack.com have put on them with VERY positive ratings would agree with me. I could have bought this same tire in a 245/75 "E" rating... but why?
You can buy whatever you want. All I'm saying is you have to be careful listening to some people. They think a 1-ton pickup truck tire is what they've got to have on a compact Jeep. They think 50-60 psi is what they need to run down the highway. It's downright comical around here sometimes. I love you guys.. and this board is an excellent resource. But geez..
