I was outside looking at my jeep and smiling like I always do on a Saturday morning, I know its kind of weird to stand and look at my jeep but I do it. I had new tires put on my mom’s car yesterday so I turned around and starting looking at it, when I thought to myself; it seems really high off the ground. I got the measuring tape and found out it has 7in of ground clearance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Libby with the 2in ome lift only has 8 with the stock tires, someday it will be 8.50-9 with the new tires. That’s crazy! My Libby had 6.5 before the lift; I can’t believe a Toyota corolla has more ground clearance than a stock liberty! Ohh, when I was measuring under my front skid, I found something wet on my front sway and a cat had peed all over my engine!! Stupid cats! I would hate to kill one of them though if it was still in there when I started it. There all scared of me though, so they usually run from me.

I just thought I would share my morning. Hows everyone elses morning going? 8)

Sounds normal to me. I look at Bullet several times a day. Walk around her, check her for dings, talk to her....lol. Hey, I have even been dreaming about her the last few nights; since I got my new rims and ordered my Frankenlift! Yesterday sucked cause my Altezza lenses arrived....broken! Lucky for me the seller is awesome and sent a replacement part out the same day.

Lol, so you have 17in chromes and little tires, and now youre going mud tires? Take it to the extreme! I actually have the stock 17in chromes, Im keeping those though and getting bigger tires, Im wanting to get the yoko geolanders. Should have enough side wall to protect them when I get into rocks and stuff.

I have about a month until I get my Frankenlift, so by then I hope to have found and purchased the right mud tire for my stock 16" rims. I am NOT taking my new rims offroad! lol. It may take some time to swap the wheels out to go play and it definately takes to spontaneous mudding out, but my first priority is keeping my KJ beautiful. LOL. Spoken like a true girl????

Time to stop this thread.

If you don't like cats then keep it to yourself.

Yea really. I didnt mean for everyone to kill cats, I was just saying my moms toyota corolla has alot of ground clearance, and a cat peed on my engine.

On my jeep i measure beside the skid at its lowest point which is under the diff. On the corolla i measure under the tranny oil pan, which is the lowest point. Kinda sad, it could get hit by anything. This doesnt mean the corolla could go off roading, it has no break over clearance and no clearance at the rear, its over all clearance is 7in, all the way to the back. My jeep has about 10in under the tranny skid.

Sorry for Hi-jacking the thread, but i'll make it short.........
Bought a mint CBR 600F3, put $7k in it "GSXRETR", won a few drags/shows, neighbors cat sleeps on the tank underneath the cover, scratches it nicely, complain to neighbors, follow neighbors (while on bike) to their choice of paint shop to get a squirt of clearcoat and a buff job, car pulls out in front of me (she was cited), I hit, bike and car totaled (bike=crushed pop can), my arms, back and leg broken, lotsa road rash, end result: permanent disablement to arms, pending medical discharge, no bike. In a nutshell, that's the last 6mos. Major Suckage...

I'm sorry it happened too...Yep....she was cited for failure to yield to on-coming traffic, and failure to see before turning.
