I bought some wheels at a 4-wheel parts truck fest after I was told they would fit (procomp 7032's) and was planning to put 245's on. I now have 235,s on my stock wheels. The wheels don't fit according to the tire place I took them to so I called 4-wheel parts and was told I would have to lift the truck to use those wheels. I told them I have xj lifted and wanted to keep my kj stock, just wanted a new look,,how come they don't make good looking wheels for the liberty? Why are they leaving a market untouched? I would like to hear a manufactures opinion on this. I plan on returning my wheels if they cannot help me.

What are the specs of the wheels/rims you are using? If you are changing rims, the width of the tire ( especially a tiny change like 10mm) is negligibleg and has nothing to with the lift. Also, the wheels and width matter little when it comes to lift. If you are going from a 235/70/16 TIRE to a 245/75/16 TIRE, then that means you have to lift due to the tire height, not the width or the rim.

it was a combination big tire and a poor offset. I do like the wheels so I will have to lift it to drive them or go with ar 392 7865 wheel 17x8
