no girls names...

most guys give their cars girls names, and the nickname comes from a story or happening in the vehicle.

Mine's name is Kendra,

she is also known as Big Red,

or The Pain Train, and occasionally the Bloodbath.

both of the latter nicknames have a very long and tiresome story behind them...

The vehicle should speak its name to you. My first car was Zeke, cause the only letters on the license plate were ZK. My second was The Beast, darn thing took a beating. My first Astro was named Moby with the first fill up, didn't know it had a 27 gallon tank, thirsty whale. I've had the uncreative names of Red, Blue and Green for three vans. Grumpy received its name based on looks, as I was taking a head on pic of it parked next to Green the dents on the hood and bumper gave me the impression that the van was grumpy.

Following that logic, my KJ should be named "Snarling M*****F*****", since the only letters in the license plate are "SMF".

And with Boiler's rad skid, it does kind of look like its snarling. . . :grim:

And jeep4, my personal opinion is that none of those names really fit "Big Blue".

First thing that came to my mind was Smurf, your KJ is now Greeny Smurf. In the original comics there were also green Smurfs, they were viewed to be wild and/or mad.

Remember every Smurf is named with a descriptor in front of Smurf.

Papa Smurf
Hefty Smurf
Brainy Smurf
Farmer Smurf
Vanity Smurf
Greedy Smurf
Clumsy Smurf
Jokey Smurf

Smurfette and Sassette are exceptions.

Name it "Your Mom"

Make up a scenario where you would be talking about your jeep and replace 'the jeep' with 'your mom'

:-)r

"Yo, I'm gonna go take your mom for a ride"
"I just serviced your mom"
"I went camping in your mom last weekend"
"I washed your mom today and waxed her up real nice"

:ROTFL:

So "Greeny Smurf? Hmmmmmmm. . .

And for the record, I voted "Big Blue." Kinda like in Old School?

"You're my boy, Blue!!"
