SWEET! by the way colt_kj ive never actually seen your jeep around winchester im suprised i havent yet because i rubberneck everytime i see a liberty. colt_kj and chris pm me for numbers and more info like a time and place to get together so far ive gotten as far as a date. :BANANA:

Navy has been keeping me quite busy, won't get much time off till mid august to mid september before i deploy again. But got alot of stuff to do in that time frame. . . Hopefully i can make a run to Gore, or something else closer with the KJ or XJ. I just wish there were something to do local to Va beach. . .

gore isnt a place ied drive hours to go see.
gore is either mud hole or bolders. ive seen coilover cjs with 35s get destroyed there, and you can get a ticket if you dont have a fire extinguisher and recovery equiptment.

If I run to Gore the KJ isn't going, I would def take the XJ. I wouldn't mind a run to RC with the KJ but thats a heck of a drive as well.

That would of been nice to know a long time ago when I had money. :roll:

I understand the importance but there's no way I can have one by the ride. That's just my situation anyway.

Nah I completely understand. I've never personally used a CB but would really like one for that exact reason. Seems useful but I've had to break the bank just to get this far on my KJ. :JEEPIN:

That would give me a few weeks to get skids on my KJ for the trip. Just ordered a hitch and I have front hooks to install, and new tires comming this weekend. Only thing holding me back is skids now.

Most of the skids are an easy install, unless you have the all j's super skid than that thing is just a beast! (I love it but it's out of production)
Front hooks aren't to bad, take off the front facia and they bolt in. Most anything on the kj isn't a bad install unless there is rusted bolts. :shock:

Mid-atlantic should plan out a ride somewhere for the future, what's a central location for everyone?

ied like to get a cb for cheap if they pluged into the cigaret lighter ied buy one. do you have to get a whip antenna to use one? i dont know much about cbs.
