If that is a python (I can't tell) then it is an invasive species that is helping decimate Florida's ecosystem. The govt is asking people to hunt them. There used to be no pythons in Florida and now if I remember correctly there are over 100,000......needs to be killed or removed, they are killing off the local wildlife.

Oh and on an unhijacking note....your Jeep looks great :D

That snake has a spoon shape kinda nose which means its non venomous (venomous snakes have more of a triangular head), thus ruling out a cottonmouth or rattlesnake. Plus, that thing doesn't eve have a rattle on its tail!!

What I want to know is why didn't you get out of the jeep and take a better picture?????
