What I want to know:
1 - pro/contra mounted on front axle
2 - pro/contra mounted on rear axle
A - pro/contra made of aluminium
B - pro/contra made of steel

People say spidertrax spacers are the way to go if you do get them. But ive also heard that Rough Country's spacers are good too..

I have read that rough country spacers are the "chinese specials" that every ebay shop sells.

I ran a set of cheapo aluminum spacers at all four wheels on a FSJ for a years or so, but maybe only for 1,000 miles. I had zero issues and they were always tight when I checked them. As most aftermarket wheels are lug-centric like the cheaper spacers/adapters are (in most cases) they should not be any different on the bearings, etc... than a wheel with a greater off-set, IMHO.

I don't want to use adapters on front axle! I want to have equally track on both axles. There is 60mm difference between - 1760/1700 WMS front/rear.

Magnum4wd, I have delt with wheel spacer's in the past and I have concluded you get what you pay for !! Spidertrax or a well known wheel spacer is the only way to go ! Haveing seen wheel spacer's and lift block's (cheap chinese crap) brake, crack and fall off of cars and 4wd's, they can cause serious risk of problelm's !!

I want only on rear axle, because:
1. I want equally track on both axles - like I said before, front distance between WMS it's larger with 60mm more than rear distance between WMS: 1760 front / 1700 rear.
2. The axles which I speak about, are DANA 60 king pin (9.75" ring) and GM Corporate 14bff (10.5" ring) - these axles are wide enough and with 285 wide tires on ET -6 rims, are somewhere to 2060mm wide from side to side; truck have 2020mm wide (w/o mirrors) and I don't use overfenders; only 2.5" lift.
3. I already have rims, tires, axles and suspension lift kit.
4. I try to find the less stressing way for the drivetrain - truck it's pretty heavy (2600kg empty / 3900kg GVW).
Here, you not find too much modified big rigs, so, I need to ask you for all info.

I understand the GM offset you are looking for. I have done this before and it works out great on the FS GM/GMC trucks.

Where did you find a Suburban in Bucharest?

In all my travels through Bucharest, Mures, and Szovata I never saw anything even remotely like a Suburban... how do you fit on the roads? You must stay on the main roads in Bucharest with that thing

The short history of this Suburban: was manufactured in '91, in Flint, United States; in '92 was brought and registered in Suceava, România, by a foundation (it wasn't the only american full-size truck, brought by this foundation!); in '02, it was sold in Suceava, to a private owner; in '03 was sold in Iaşi, to a private owner; in '04 was sold in Constanţa, to a private owner; in '05 was sold in Galaţi, to a company; from that company, I bought and brought in Bucureşti, in '06, in a very bad shape, but, with a diesel engine (similar with the engine from the truck) and a 3-speeds automatic gear box, as spare parts.
In all this time, from '06 until last year, I bought for it: GM 14bff rear axle, PSC hydro steering kit, NP 205 (divorced), from Timişoara, România; 285/75R16 tires, 16x8 rims, DANA 60 king pin front axle, 2.5" suspension lift kit (4 springs), from Germany; shock absorbers, rings & pinions (3.73), brake rotors, brake pads, brake shoes, brake cylinders, gaskets, seals, water strips, mirrors, tie rods, drag links, ball joints, bearings, lamps, filters, chassis repair kit, bumpers braces, locks and many others parts/accessories, from United States... and I didn't finish yet!


About the size... the real full-size... usually is OK! And yes, on some of the secondary roads/alleys, can be a real pain in the @$$!
But, as someone said: "there's no replacement, for displacement!"! This truck is really worth it all the money!



PS: This 1995 Chevrolet Suburban 350 cid (5.7 gasoline), it's one of the trucks which also was brought and later sold in România, by the same foundation.
