so when i whent wheeling at the dunes for about 4-7 hours i had 4wd on, but after a while the part-time light went off. now no matter what when i put it in 4wd just for a short time the part-time light never comes on. and also in 4low the 4low light does not come on. But i am sure that the 4wd workd because when i put it in 4wd and pop my clucth off the start it dose not spin the tires like it does in 2wd.

IIRC, there is a sensor on the shifter linkage that gets all jacked out off place. It does not effect the actual functioning of the t-case.
