Thanks! Painting plated chrome and painting plastic chrome are two different animals. Plastic chrome is much easier to paint. I bet the tutorial was for plated chrome. It gets more in depth because it is much harder to prep correctly. I hate doing it.lol I've done it though, and it turned out quite good.

It is one of the best adhesion promoters/primer I have ever used. You can get it in spray can form, or you can get it for a pneumatic paint gun. It sticks to just about everything and makes a great base for just about any paint. I've used it on several items that normally don't accept paint/primer, and it held right on there.
