Started to rain so had to finish and take pictures inside the garage!
Si i Had 4 Hella FF300 on the Gecko rack for some time, but not wired up
bought 2 Hella FF1000's for the ARB and got them wired Sunday, with Buggin's help
Took the Gecko rack off and painted it today with black hammertone paint, then wired up the lights
First with just the bumper lights , then with the inner roofs, then outers and ALL!

Already have two for the rear. The two outers will be turned more to shine along the sides of the road about 25/30 foot in front of the Jeep instead of directly in front

I had to go with the oval type so I could still squeeze in my garage. They seems to work good though and tons of Land Rover folks use them so must be sort of good! :JEEPIN:

Looks good tom! Did you have to drill that nice big hole for the wires? I'm a little nervous about that part............

This is the first mod I have done that I did not have to drill any holes! :x
Well I guess making brackets to bring the lights down closer to the roof I did drill some but, I ran the wires down the pillar .

Yea, last night I did some try them out and see if they work wiring,
hooked everything up, opened the garage doors and they lit up two of my neighbors homes!
Oh and it was 1:15 AM, the one old lady straight across the street,.....they hauled her out this AM , I think maybe I scared her!

That setup looks very good. Nice and clean install on all your aftermarket parks. Could you tell me if you have a 7 foot high or 8 foot high door. Just curious how high yours is with a light bar on it. Thanks.

Thanks!
Opened height is 83 inches
Here's what I have to play with above the rack, thats the reason for having the lights I do and keeping them down low, plus looks better I think

Ok thanks for the info. I have a 7 foot door as well and I'm thinking about getting a used Liberty, probably an 09 though. I know I won't be able to resist a lift and larger tires forever so I was curious at how high it sat with light bar and all. I looked on Jeeps site and couldn't find a stock overall height of the 2010 liberty, do you know how much, if any, higher the roof of the KK is compared to yours stock?

EDIT:
I found the exterior body height of the KK, it's 70 inches. Jeeps site is not the most user friendly as you have to compare the vehicle you are looking at against another vehicle in order to obtain the dimensions of the vehicle. Oh well, thanks for you help and keep up the good work.
