i BLEW my front end to bits... And I was curious to know if I could take it out and button the truck back up to drive locally while I wait for the new Diff/custom CV's to be sent to me...

Only the slightly better mileage you might experience. I drove mine w/out for about 8 months.

I'd remove the front drive shaft too while your at it if you haven't already done so, will help keep the gears from spinning all that new dirt and crud around in the gears, fyi.

I've had mine off since nov, just get ready for a bunch of gear lube to spit out everywhere if you haven't gone ahead and drained the diff of everything.

I won't be putting them back in either, hehehe. :goink:
