All,

Got a simple question (I think). I have been having issues with the ABS recently, so I decided the first step was to remove the wheel speed sensors and clean them. I started with the rear wheels but could not figure out how to disconnect it from the wire (there is a little red tab on it - do I push it down? pull it up?). Anyone with experience? Thanks in advance.

There's no cleaning of them to the best of my knowledge.

I honestly can't remember how to remove the harness. I just know I just used a small screwdriver and got it. I think you have to push down or pull up, and then the red tab should slide away from the sensor.

You push on the red clip and slide it out then you simply pull the plug off. as for the front they are held in by allen Key bolts and you want to be very careful when removing them from the unit bearings They will break if forced to hard. You can Clean the fronts I have done it buy some white lithium grease and lightly coat them when you put them back in.
