Hmm, so they have two mount points to the pinch weld?

No, that smaller tube bolts to the outside of the pinch weld with (7) 5/16" bolts. The two large frame mounts use 1/2" through bolts with a crush sleeve and a backing plate. This is the setup I use on my XJ sliders, and you can build an exo cage off those.

They look quite nice. I really like how you used a flatter, but wider piece of box steel to connect them to the frame. Looks like it would allow it to tuck up maybe 1/2" closer then the boulderbars I have. Would be a little concerned with just 4 bolts holding it too the frame, but if you are using 1/2" bolts with crush sleeve type support behind I would guess it would be just as strong. And I'm sure adding a few more bolts if necessary would only take an extra minute or two. Also really dig the idea of having some removable plastic pieces to help slide over the rocks. I'm constantly touching up my bolderbars from rock rash to prevent against rust. Especially in the midwest where I've seen 1/4" steel rust out in a few years.

I think they would be better with the round tube slider steps.

It is my wifes Jeep, and she is only 5'2", and our daughter is only 4'. They bolth have a hard time getting in & out, but I don't want the fat tube steps everyone sells.

I think about a 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" by 0.125" DOM tube step on the slider would be great.

I just sent my payment in a couple of hours ago, now it's time to wait. I know the site says prepayments are allowed up until the 15th, does that mean they ship on the 15th? If so I couldn't wish for better timing, as my spring break starts the 18th, so I'll have plenty of time to paint and install them.

Thanks Rock Lizard!

Got the payment, thanks. March 15th was an estimated date, but I am getting pretty close to finishing up the new jigs and working out the new design, so they should ship out pretty dang close to that date. Just have to finish fitting up this first set and getting all the pictures during install so I can make up the instructions, and they are ready to go. I think you guys are really going to like these, especially since I improved them. Shipping to you should only take a couple of days, so I think it will be safe to say you will have them by your spring break.
