Hey LI,
I need to get rid of my pinch welds so I can finally put on my larger tires, I got a flat last week and I didn't have the correct size spare since these tiny tires were only supposed to be temporary. Good thing I was at work and I was able to borrow a car to get a new tire on my rim. So before I put these bigger tires on my rims I need to make sure I get rid of the pinch welds, because I know for a fact that I'm not one of those lucky ones that don't need to get rid of it.

Soooo, how you guys doing? lol.

Anyone want to help me sometime during the week? or EARLY on the weekend?
I'm working Friday & Saturday at around noon. and I have to go to my cousins' Graduation on Sunday morning. I was supposed to do it with one of my friends but I'm free during the week and he's free on the weekends, lol. Lame.

Anyway, much appreciated.

Those with my number feel free to text or call me.

I'm out,
-Twinkle Toes
lol

LOL @ Twinkle Toes :ROTFL:

I would be able to help early in the morning on a weekend. What time would you want to do this and where? I can bring my heat gun and you can probably cut the plastic with a sheet rock knife (We know you're good with one of those :-)r ) or trauma shears. Those can cut a penny in half!

I've got a dremel with a cutter (a drywall knife would work just as well), but I am leaving Fri-Mon for Watkins Glen, NY for a long weekend. I would love to help, and we could most likely do a better job than I did on mine now that I have tried it out before.

darn Jeff, go away every weekend huh? lol.

Peter, I'll let you know. I will find out what time and where I need to be on Saturday.
I'll speak to my friend to see if it is better than on Sunday.

I want to change my tires and get an alignment and everything in order before July 4th.
I'm heading out east to Montauk.

Thanks guys.

Yeah I know they're not that difficult. My heat gun crapped out on me. And more importantly my driveway is not flat, more like a 45° decline. Lame. And it's an excuse to meet up. Lol.

Unfortunately it would have to be EARLY, lol, like 9am? If that's too early, no worries..
I'm down to do it anywhere, I can head to you so you don't have to drive too much, and that heat gun would be a priority, lol.

Text me if you want and we'll figure it out.

9am is fine and we can do it were ever you want. I live 5 minutes away from the sbarros building off the LIE and my driveway is flat. :goink:

Dean your KJ looks great now. The thing looks like a monster with the lift, tires, and lights!

No, I never looked into it any more, if I get different lights or learn to weld, I'll figure out a better way.

And that tape, I'm missing a couple of those push rivets, I'm sure Jeff will agree, next best thing, gaffers tape, lol.

Dean, your rig looks SICK! Just gotta get some more gaffers tape to hold that bumper in place.
But it looks so much better with the proper wheels under it. I see a bunch of KJs at Bennys getting done up on the 19th! A keg may be in order after all. :SOMBRERO:

Thanks andrew. I still have not sprung for a winch for the bumper. I was afraid to sink anymore money into the Jeep till I figured out my front pinion issues. And it seems to be leaking AGAIN! It's a heap, an luckily still under warranty. So, once this issue is fully resolved, then I will go for the winch and a roof basket with more lights. Its on the 'to do' list. Looking forward to the mega lift party we have planned for July!
