first let me say i have hid's in my headlights and its a huge improvement but today i saw that dirtykk has yellow bulbs in the fogs and i love the way it looks even when the lights are off....i like the way it reflects in the housing. now i originally thought id do 3000k hids but they don't reflect in the housing when off and i understand thats the nature of hids and i also realize that nothing is better than hids but i like dirtykk's and digger's look tooooo much to pass it up.

*sigh*with all that said what bulb brand are you running and do you recommend them? do they have heat problems? should i get the beefed up harnesses?

Digger and I (copied him) have Nokias. I don't remember specifically which ones but they're on ebay for like $20. They're bright and I haven't had any issues after about 6ish months.

I have Noykia's Artic White halogen bulbs (http://www.coolbulbs.com/nokya.asp#) in all my forward facing lamps; the headlights, two fogs and a pair of Hella 700FF's. They aren't really any brighter but I like the color of the light. After the switch from stock you really notice how yellow everybody else's stock headlights are. The only drawback that they don't last as long as the stock bulbs. I find I'm replacing a Noykia bulb every ten months.

Getting back to the original topic of this posting, yes I like the idea of a yellow fog lamp bulb. Maybe I'll order a pair of Noykia Hyper Yellow halogens.
