Haha, don't tempt me. I would die for some rims I could put grabbers on.

But I don't think the wife would be too happy, she likes those rims. :D

I have to agree that there's little that can go wrong with a standard transmission but a lot that can go wrong with an automatic. But I'm still on the fence as to which is easier to use on the trails.

Personally I find the manual transmissions more fun on the highways but that's just me.

LetFreedomRing.....

I think you got a very good deal there assuming there's no hidden issues the seller did not disclose.

I haven't had a manual tranny since my Toyota 4 X 4 pickup got rear ended and totaled, and I do miss it. I've been buying automatics at the wife's request since she can't drive stick....(and refuses to learn)....it's always the...."what if something happens to you and I have to drive it" excuse.....

My next Jeep with have two things my '05 Renegade KJ does not......solid front axle, and Manual transmission....

With a moderate lift, you could run 245/75/17.

245/75R16 or 245/70R17 = yes, they are 31"
245/75R17 = more than moderate lift + trimming, as these are 32"

LetfreedomRing, I love that Jeep! Thoes rims are my second favorites, next to the Rubicon Moabs. Have little fear about the manual. If I can teach my wife to drive a manual on my '07 with no adverse results, it will take anything!!!! :ROTFL:
