CD won't eject.. again.

My Jeep had the 6-disc in dash changer from the factory. It broke and stopped ejecting CDs and then it stopped recognizing the CD mode altogether.

So I ditched it and bought a regular single disc OEM player from a member here. it worked fine for the past 3 months then today it won't eject the CD! And sometimes I can't even get it to recognize the CD mode either!

What the heck? Any idea of how to get the CD out without tearing up the player? These OEM units are starting to become disposable and it's annoying.

That made me giggle, lol. I'm not sure if it works on these, but other radios, it has. Unplug the positive terminal on the battery, wait a minute or so then plug back in, it should eject the CD. Maybe, lol.

Hit the dash really hard multiple times... Never really had that work but I felt better

What's a "CD"? Is that those black things with a groove in them?

I tried unplugging the deck and reconnecting...nothing. So I while I had the deck pulled out, I took my hand and smacked the unit real hard a few times and the disc popped out. Yay!
