This is at least the 3rd Jeep product that I have personally seen involved in a serious rollover accident in which the occupant literally got out and walked away.

There is a reason why Jeeps are heavy and piggish compared to their competition, and that's because when Chrysler builds something, they BUILD it. Can't replace a life...

Loyal to Jeep more and more after seeing these happen.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM Ernie! Looks like you took one helluva ride! Glad you stayed with the KJ and didn't get tossed like you here about so many times in a rollover! Sometimes it happens so fast that trying to remember anything about it is a lost cause.
I took a tumble like that back in the mid 70's in a '63 Corvair Monza Spyder @ about 85mph. Remember exactly everything right up till I went over the first time (they told me it went over 6 times!), then, almost nothing till the paramedics were checking me out. Hurt my elbow and that was it.
Glad you're OK. Sounds like time for a JK?

This was on another post.

Ya know even though I don't know Ernie personally or even talked much, just the fact that a member of our club, group, family has gone through such an accident kinda hits home. I remember when I think his name was tow strap took a tumble. That one bothered me for days just as this one will. I am so glad that this is another member that was able to walk away, I never want to see the day of the other ending.

You're still alive and well, and that's the most important thing Neatus, insurance money and a good set of tools will eventually build you another awesome Jeep.

Dang, I did not believe it when Troy told me about this today!! Glad you are doing good! And they say all of that monotonous repetitive training doesn't pay off... HMMWV rollover trng and the first aid over and over and over... Looks like it helped you that and the Libby Tank!

Glad you okay man! Your KJ was my favorite on the site. You can replace that, not your life. Best of luck in the future with insurance and eventually building another kickass Jeep :D
