 Post subject: CRD vs. Gasser T-Case

Having some serious issues with my t-case and just wondering.........if for some reason it doesn't get warrantied, and it's something major and expensive, I will just buy a complete used unit. Is the NP242 in our CRD's compatible with the gasser versions? I know internally they are identical, but what about the mounting surface to the tranny?

So, the t-case a local yard has that's out of a 2004 3.7 w/49K mi will work if I have to get one???

Yes, and with a little bit of other work you could use one out of a XJ, ZJ or WJ.
