From reading the forums, it seems like many people arent aware that it is easy to get export version of parts in the states.
It doesnt cost and arm and a leg either.

What I did is go to my dealer and they were able to look up part numbers for me. (Export part numbers are different than standard)

The dealer can not actually go through and order the part normally, my dealer had to call mopar and get what they called an "order over ride" because it is an export part.

For example, when I got my vehicle repaired at the dealer my cost was exacatally the same as it would have been to get it fixed back to standard.

If your dealer wont order you the parts, ask a couple dealers, if it comes down to it, order it from my dealer and have them ship it to yours?

I just dont want to see people out there spending tons of cash on shipping for these parts when infact the dealers can and have gotten parts for me without any type of surcharge.

No, but I am interested in the power folding mirrors and side marker lamps, and moving my antenna to be integrated in the back window.

Just so you know, there was a discussion about those awhile back. The "Power Folding Mirrors" are powered in the sense that you can adjust the mirror glass from a button in the cabin, and folding in the sense that you can physically fold them flat by pushing on it with your hand. They are not "Power-Folding", just "powered" and "folding". Probably not worth the hassle to get the export part just to find that it's the same as the US part.

Youre wrong. The export mirrors actually "power fold." Many people do get confused with the U.S mirrors though. I myself did a couple of times.

Se7enLC you are wrong. Mine fold in and out at the press of a button which is similar to the electric window buttons.

They may not be a great idea though because they do get stuck. I've had both of mine changed because of this........ They both work pretty well at the moment (For 2 years) maybe they sorted out the problem?
