I've been lurking for awhile and have decided to finally jump in. What would be a fair price on a well equipped, immaculate, 05 CRD Limited with about 15K miles? I'm liking this 05 because I can still transfer the 7/70 warranty. Thanks for any help, advise, opinions...

Since it is such low miles, I would guess it is worth 16,000 but be aware....it may be one of the lemons somebody got rid of.

6 months ago I paid $15,900 for a '05 Limited with all the bells and whistles and 74,000 miles. Felt like I got a pretty good deal considering book was higher than that.

A year ago, I paid $15,995 for an '06 Limited, almost fully equiped, with 26k miles. I'd consider a good deal in the $14k-$16k range, today, with low mileage like that.

Well I found another that if all goes well, should have by the end of the week. It's also an 05 limited with only 9K miles on it. It's in perfect shape- really like it's new. The guy that owns it is in his 80s and took great care of it. No hotrodding, towing, or offroading. But with that kind of condition comes a price... $18.5. I don't mind it though for what it is.

I would also beware of a bad one. Who would sell their CRD with such low miles unless they were tired of problems, or bored with it I guess.

Out here on the west coast a limited with under 50K doesn't normally sell for less than 17k from the ads I have seen.

Honestly, not that bad given the mileage and condition.
