Oh Terry, you are sadly mistaken.Wifey said there was just a "Tink".That's all.
She said it was such a "Non-Event".A non event that would have cost her job if she busted that sprinkler line.Fire pump would have kicked on and flooded the whole parking garage.

I tried to explain that there are physical laws that say there was more than just a "Tink".She dissagrees. I love my wife to death, which allmost came yesterday.I'm better today just thinking about Towstrap and Neatus.

:furious: Dang airheads!I shoulda married a tomboy.
I shouldn't, but in her defense, I took out the entire side of a pickup with the front corner of my 1976 Ford LTD station wagon doing about 60 mph sideways...and all I heard was "ding". Wasn't sure if I hit much or not, didn't feel a thing. Upon inspection I about crapped...

Did I make your night because you're expecting a new roofrack sale? :ROTFL:
Does your roofrack mount to the existing rail groments?Cuzzzzz....I don't have those anymore, just holes ripped out of the sheetmetal. :banghead:
Haha, the thought didn't even cross my mind, just was like a great big blonde/airhead joke...but I think you can get a rack up there.

Did the nutserts just get pulled out without damaging the roof too much? Do like digger said when Ted tore his off. get a big honkin washer at each spot, and bolt through. Its more of a PITA than with the nutserts obviously, but it has been done. You'll have to move / remove your headliner.

Just let me know, I could use the work for sure....

oh and finally...this thread is worthless without pics!

Since it looks like I might not be spending a few grand in CRD parts, this is back to the top of the list(after the new fuel head assembly and lift pump).I will need a little modifying if that is not a problem.

My camera is a gonner.Wish I could show a pic of all the pieces in th back of my truck, the scratches across the top,and just how dang goofy it looks with the crewcut.

If his ended up like mine, there is surprisingly little damage to the outlying sheetmetal when the nutzerts came out. Kind of scary to think how little support there is around the nutzerts!
